And so the story began… In 1999, Clint Wiles a young enterpriser searched for a profession that he would never tire of. He dedicated himself to fulfilling the needs of driven entrepreneurs, made up a great deal by the real estate world. By pairing his artistic eye with a drive to succeed, he began his sign company. The cutting edge designs he produced were beyond compare; however, one problem remained. While the signs he produced were fantastic, the frames that displayed them were standard. The basic, run-of-the-mill metal and plastic options were boring, outdated, and didn’t express the enthusiasm each agent bubbled over with for their new listings.
What if these energetic real estate professionals could make their clients feel valued, above the dozens of other listings by simply upping their game with a simple solution? With the addition of an eye-appealing yet durable upgrade, they could use their existing frames and could elevate their offerings beyond the masses that lined the streets around them.
Fast forward a few decades, and the right men were in the the right place, at the right time. Ken Smart, a business oriented leader with focus and direction, Garrett Bernard a manufacturing guru and chemistry genius, and Clint Wiles a creative mind with years of experience in the sign industry all sat down together. As with all great stories, an idea was born, The Original SignTopper. Five minutes into their meeting, the first sketch of the Topper was scratched on a napkin. Three weeks later plans were sent, and within 6 months the first prototype was being picked apart by the team. The next years were spent testing, revising, and redeveloping until finally the Original SignTopper was ready. Then, you found your way into the narrative, and the story reached its climax.
